Good news for fans of Tim Burton and horror in general. Italy’s first horror panic room themed on Sweeney Todd is coming to Salerno! Thanks to the venue for giving us the chance to talk about this new attraction ahead of its opening, so you can find out all the details before it opens, planned for the end of the month.
At Mrs. Lovett’s Tavern you will be able to eat delicacies prepared by Mrs. Lovett in person and enjoy tasty drinks to go with them. But beneath the inn lies a secret: the room of Sweeney Todd, the bloodthirsty barber immortalised in literature, theatre and film, including the 2007 film directed by Tim Burton.
The horror panic room

The venue is on two floors: upstairs is Mrs. Lovett’s inn, a real tavern where you can eat and drink. But it is downstairs that the horror comes to life, with an incredibly accurate panic room: the room of the killer barber, Sweeney Todd.
You will find yourself trapped in Sweeney Todd’s clutches and have one hour to escape from the room, decoding clues and following the advice of other prisoners who will help you get out, all in a spine-chilling atmosphere.
The attraction is a faithful reproduction of the room of the barber of Fleet Street. There will be the chair where he sat his unsuspecting victims, the trapdoor through which he dropped the bodies and the oven where he burned the remains of the poor wretches.
Mrs. Lovett’s inn has everything it takes to give you a spine-tingling adventure! If you haven’t yet decided how to spend your holidays, or just want a different kind of day full of thrills, visit Mrs. Lovett’s inn and challenge the evil barber Sweeney Todd! Fun and chills guaranteed!
